The proposals for the site, comprising 287-291 Oxford Street & 11-12 Hanover Square, take the form of an office and retail use redevelopment scheme comprising 50,000 sq.ft of accommodation. Progress continues to be made at one of the world’s most famous retail streets; London’s Oxford Street. Façades on two sides of this Aviva Investors project are in construction. The main contractor for the scheme is McLaren Construction. The faience tiles on the Oxford Street elevation, the motif of which is inspired by the geometric design for the nearby Oxford Street and Regent Street junction, are being laid just as the dark brick façade addressing Hanover Square reaches roof level. Completion is expected in Autumn 2016.
